Medical Director
Ron S. Rosen, MD

Dr. Ron S. Rosen earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine and completed his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital. He went on to complete a two-year nuclear medicine residency at Georgetown University, followed by a one-year fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2004.
 
A Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Rosen has conducted research at Johns Hopkins and served on the faculty of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is a published author and speaker on a range of medical topics. Dr. Rosen has been with PET/CT Imaging of San Jose since 2006.

Medicare-Funded Study for PET Imaging in Dementia Care

PET/CT Imaging of San Jose is proud to participate in the groundbreaking IDEAS Study (Imaging Dementia – Evidence for Amyloid Scanning). This study evaluates the clinical value of brain PET scans in detecting and managing Alzheimer’s disease.
 
Eligible patients are Medicare beneficiaries aged 65 or older who meet the study’s criteria and are referred by participating dementia specialists. To learn more about our role in this important research, please visit the official IDEAS Study website.
