Medical Director Ron S. Rosen, MD

Dr Rosen earned his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine, and finished his residency at Good Samaritan Hospital. He completed a two year residency in nuclear medicine at Georgetown University and a one year fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2004. Dr Rosen is a Diplomate of the American Board of Radiology and has conducted research at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He has been a faculty member of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and is a published author and speaker on a variety of medical topics. Dr Rosen joined PET/CT IMAGING OF SAN JOSE in 2006.

Medicare-Funded Study for PET Imaging in Dementia Care

PET/CT Imaging of San Jose is pleased to take part in the ground-breaking IDEAS study. The Imaging Dementia – Evidence for Amyloid Scanning (IDEAS) Study will determine the clinical usefulness of brain PET scans to determine the presence of and treat Alzheimer’s disease. Patients will be enrolled by participating dementia specialists and must be a Medicare beneficiary aged 65 or older who meets the appropriate use criteria for the study. Advanced Diagnosis of Cognitive Decline

We offer a number of advanced diagnostic tracers for diagnosing cognitive decline – including Neuroceq, Amyvid, and Vizamyl. PET/CT Imaging of San Jose is the only facility in the area to offer all three choices to patients and their physicians.

Medicare-Funded Study for PET Imaging in Dementia Care

PET/CT Imaging of San Jose is proud to participate in the groundbreaking IDEAS Study (Imaging Dementia – Evidence for Amyloid Scanning). This study evaluates the clinical value of brain PET scans in detecting and managing Alzheimer’s disease.
